2011 Summer Camp
Dear Parents & Grandparents,
The Shaw Summer Camp program is ready and should be a lot of fun! We are
focusing on Music and Craft this year, with a special morning of Nature at
the Cedar Rock Preserve with the Sprengers. On Friday, we will have a
Cookout at the Community Center, a time for visiting for the adults and a
last minute tuneup for the children on the Marimbas before the 2:30 Concert
and Art Show. More details on that will be given on thew first day of camp.
For the 4-5 year old campers we would request a grandparent/parent be with
the child for the first couple days to ensure a good experience for
everyone.
Remember to check the size for the T-shirt for each child. There is nothing
like a Shaw Summer Camp T-shirt. Also, Shelly has asked that the children
wear "grubs" for the Arts & Crafts Classes so they can really get into it.
We look forward to seeing you the first week of August.
